Un Oud

I belong to the aristocracy of the forest. I am Aquilaria Crassna and when I am under attack, I secrete a  mythic resin which makes me more precious than gold. Boxing, leather, combative concentration. A face-off between oud and leather, which circle each other, avoid each other and then embrace in muscular hand-to-hand combat. Cardamom, pink berries and saffron encourage the duel, while cedar and vetiver watch quietly.  The boxer's robe. The leather gloves await their owner. A reassuring ritual before going into battle, smoke of oud and sage spread their wisps of courage to face destiny.

Beauty is obvious. It does not need a speech.

David Frossard studied philosophy, then perfume. He founded Obvious because exclusive had become a joke.
