Librarian's notes

Close your eyes and continue your journey to Persian lands, wandering through markets where orange blossoms and pistachios rub shoulders with the scent of marzipan. Notes of heliotrope shape the fragrance to give it fullness with almond facets, while notes of incense invigorate the fragrance and give it depth. A heart of carrot unfolds the sweet notes of the perfume and amplifies its unctuousness. It is then that the pistachio milk reveals all its nuances, gourmand and sweet, bitter and dry. A Pistachio as if it had come out of the streets of Tripoli, a firm, dense, dizzying pistachio!

About Obvious

Beauty is obvious. It does not need a speech.

David Frossard studied philosophy, then perfume. He founded Obvious because exclusive had become a joke. The clear line is here: Une Pistache, Un Musc, Une Figue, Un Bois, Un Oud, Une Rose, Une Vanille, plus Milk & Matcha, Scoville, Kakigori, Dulce de Leche, Floridita's Night, Frida's Thorns — and the same names as wash.

The pistachio milk accord is a creation of the perfumer, offering notes of almond, warm milk, toasted, green, and salty facets, all melting into a cloud of creamy aromas. According to legend, the Queen of Sheba declared pistachios a royal-exclusive delicacy. In the first century AD, Emperor Vitellius introduced this prized nut to Rome. Originally grown in the warm climates of the Middle East, East Asia, and the Mediterranean, the pistachio is one of the oldest nut-bearing trees.
