Librarian's notes

Inspired by the Corsican fig tree, this fragrance reveals a fruity, milky and iodized juice that will conquer the hearts of lovers of the island of beauty. Fruity fig and salty marine accord. The notes that characterise figs are known as ‘lactonic’ in the jargon, to emphasise their unctuous, fruity character. What could be more contrasting than the iodised, mineral and fresh scent of the sea? A few aromatic herbs (eucalyptus, rosemary) and you've got an almost gourmet, highly recognisable signature.

About Obvious

Beauty is obvious. It does not need a speech.

David Frossard studied philosophy, then perfume. He founded Obvious because exclusive had become a joke. The clear line is here: Une Pistache, Un Musc, Une Figue, Un Bois, Un Oud, Une Rose, Une Vanille, plus Milk & Matcha, Scoville, Kakigori, Dulce de Leche, Floridita's Night, Frida's Thorns — and the same names as wash.
